Ok, so it has taken a full 2 months for me to finally write this, but I felt so strongly about my gratitude to you that I wanted to make sure I had the time to put into it!

Maili honestly, you were so amazing during my labor and delivery process. I am so happy I sought out your services. I was a little worried about hiring a doula because I knew I wanted an epidural and I wasn’t sure a doula could provide much help if I had a medicated birth- boy was I wrong! I truly feel that you kept the labor process relaxed and absolutely enjoyable!

I felt at ease with you – 

You were so knowledgeable about everything that was going on and helped me stay aware of what my options were. I felt like you were a member of my own family because you were so gracious, intimate, and empathetic. You have a true gift!

Even the doctor who delivered Lilly asked me who you were (i.e. what your name was) when she came to my room the next day. She said she thought you were a “fantastic doula” – no small compliment coming from an OB/GYN as they are often hesitant to have doula’s alongside them.

I just feel so much gratitude in my heart towards you and think of you fondly with a smile on my face when I think back to the day my precious girl was born. Thank you so much again, and best wishes to you and your family.

It's amazing that you and I have known each other for 25 years!! During that time so much has happened...we've grown up, gotten married, you've had children...and to have had you there with me and Bill throughout my pregnancy and birth of Liam means so much!  You are such a wonderful person and great friend! Thank you so much for being such a special person and part of my life..and Liam's!

Hi Maili,
Happy New Year! Just wanted to thank you again for your awesome support during my unexpected long labor.  It's hard to believe that Joaquin is now 6 weeks old.  He is so big and is a good baby.  I wanted to write to let you know how happy I am that I decided to have a doula present for my third delivery and as it turns out it was well worth it.  Frank nor I would have predicted that I would be waiting for my contractions to get stronger seven hours after my water broke that morning.  Having you there not only helped me but also Frank- he was the most supportive of all our three deliveries.  I remember you holding the fetal monitor just so I would not have to be in bed and knowing that rubbing my lower back is just what I needed:)  Thanks! Thanks! Thanks!  I hope you enjoy the pictures I sent.
